Ang coaxial load ay binubuo ng mga konektor, heat sink, at built-in na resistor chip. Ayon sa iba't ibang frequency at power, ang mga konektor ay karaniwang gumagamit ng mga uri tulad ng 2.92, SMA, N, DIN, 4.3-10, atbp. Ang heat sink ay dinisenyo na may kaukulang mga sukat ng heat dissipation ayon sa mga kinakailangan sa heat dissipation ng iba't ibang laki ng kuryente. Ang built-in na chip ay gumagamit ng isang chip o maraming chipset ayon sa iba't ibang frequency at power requirement.
Ang pangunahing layunin nito ay ang pagsipsip ng lakas ng mga sistema ng radio frequency o microwave; o bilang isang dummy load para sa mga antenna at transmitter terminal. Sa ilang mga pagsubok sa RF, upang maiwasan ang signal reflection at maapektuhan ang mga resulta ng pagsubok, ito ay konektado sa mga hindi nagamit na port bilang mga katugmang load upang sumipsip ng enerhiya ng port. Maaari rin itong magsilbing dummy load sa pagsusuri ng pagganap ng sistema sa pamamagitan ng mga simulated terminal (tulad ng mga antenna).
Ang mga produktong coaxial load series ay may mga katangian ng malawak na working frequency band, mababang standing wave coefficient, mataas na lakas, maliit na sukat, at hindi madaling masunog.
